Now Hiring - Social Media Manager

In this position, candidates will develop and implement social media strategies for clients, create and manage content, monitor metrics and analytics, stay up-to-date on industry trends, and must be familiar and comfortable navigating and posting on the main social media platforms. They are expected to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and vendors on a daily basis and manage customer accounts as needed.

Main Responsibilities.

  • Develop and implement social media strategies for clients
  • Create, curate, and manage content for clients' social media accounts
  • Monitor social media metrics and analytics, and report on performance with an eye toward identifying goals for growing and improving social media campaigns' impacts over time
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new social media platforms
  • Use and maintain a set of content-planning, scheduling and notification tools to ensure progress is tracked, monitored, and reported
  • Oversee and manage testing strategies based on digital analytics, focused on gaining insights on the consumer experience and uncovering opportunities for optimization
  • Be creative with messaging and think outside the box

Qualifications.

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing
  • Experience using the main social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • The ability to analyze and contextualize social media metrics and analytics
  • Passion for social media and a deep understanding of the latest trends and best practices.
  • Basic skills in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign, and be able to manipulate image sizes and other basic functions
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate clearly 
  • Be analytical and data-driven
  • Familiar with working on B2B and B2C marketing campaigns
  • MUST PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL  (grammar, spelling, symmetry, spacing, etc)
  • A people-person willing to deal with clients on a daily basis

More Details.

  • The social media manager will report directly to the Founder/CEO, Desirae Haluk
  • Contract 1099 | Part-time hourly position to start
  • Hours will increase as agency grows and candidate proves they can handle responsibilities
  • Position will start at $30/hour
